My son has just finished his NAM process this week with surgery scheduled for 9/13/2023. The absolute care and expertise that Dr. Canallatos had for us is unmatched! When I tell you that I felt more at ease and comforted throughout this whole process with the NAM I mean it.
She was available for any weird questions I had come up at all times and responded quickly which is amazing for a nervous mom like me 🙂
She encouraged us step by step and made us feel like we could do this together!
I feel very confident that we will have amazing results with the lip repair next week and am thrilled that she is also handling our nasal stents after repair!

I will start off by saying we were so thankful and lucky to be able to work with Dr. Canallatos. She’s an incredible doctor that makes the early stages of cleft repair slightly less stressful with her warm approach and her attention to details. Dr. Canallatos is very personable which helps put you at ease during these tough first few months. Her work and expertise with the NAM process was eye opening to experience first hand. The progress Knox made under Dr. Canallatos was impressive and we couldn’t be more pleased. She always made herself available even for the most basic questions. I’ll finish by saying even though we were so excited to get through the NAM process, we will be missing our weekly check ups with Dr. Canallatos which is really saying something.

We met Dr. Jessica Canallatos at our first visit with craniofacial team at Oshei Children’s Hospital after we found out about our son’s cleft lip and palate. We subsequently had weekly NAM appointments with her for over 20 weeks. She is a shining example of what every person in health care should strive to be: kind, compassionate, attentive and genuine. As first time parents of a cleft-affected child, she was (and still is) a significant source of comfort for us as we navigate this journey with our baby. She treated our son as if he was her own and we are so grateful for everything she continues to do for our family.

We are new parents and have been overwhelmed with all that comes with this normally. Our child Brandon was born with a cleft lip and palate. Dr. Jessica Canallatos held our hand through the beginnings of this process and made us feel at ease. She treated our child with such compassion that we felt at home in our visits. The entire staff knew us by name and enjoyed watching Brandon grow through his healing. We are very grateful for all she has done for us.

A huge thank you to Brighton Family Dental. We were referred to Dr Jessica Canallatos for a complete set of new teeth for my 84 year old father Rich. From our first consult through all the appointments everything was smooth and easy. Every procedure explained fully and every question answered. Pops even had them laughing with every visit.
