My son has just finished his NAM process this week with surgery scheduled for 9/13/2023. The absolute care and expertise that Dr. Canallatos had for us is unmatched! When I tell you that I felt more at ease and comforted throughout this whole process with the NAM I mean it.
She was available for any weird questions I had come up at all times and responded quickly which is amazing for a nervous mom like me 🙂
She encouraged us step by step and made us feel like we could do this together!
I feel very confident that we will have amazing results with the lip repair next week and am thrilled that she is also handling our nasal stents after repair!

We met Dr. Jessica Canallatos at our first visit with craniofacial team at Oshei Children’s Hospital after we found out about our son’s cleft lip and palate. We subsequently had weekly NAM appointments with her for over 20 weeks. She is a shining example of what every person in health care should strive to be: kind, compassionate, attentive and genuine. As first time parents of a cleft-affected child, she was (and still is) a significant source of comfort for us as we navigate this journey with our baby. She treated our son as if he was her own and we are so grateful for everything she continues to do for our family.

We are new parents and have been overwhelmed with all that comes with this normally. Our child Brandon was born with a cleft lip and palate.
